The WFSA is pleased to announce that it is accepting donations to sponsor scholars to attend the 17th World Congress of Anaesthesiologists on 1 -5 Sept 2021.
Supporters will be able to cover the cost of a scholar’s registration, enabling them to attend what promises to be the biggest and most accessible WCA ever held.
A donation of $80 USD / £56 GBP will cover the cost of an applicant from low and lower-middle income countries
A donation of $189 USD / £134 GBP will cover the cost of an applicant from an upper middle income country

Held every four years, the World Congress of Anaesthesiologists is the largest global meeting of anaesthesiologists and perioperative care providers. In light of the ongoing impact of COVID on international travel, the 17th WCA will for be held entirely virtually from 1st – 5th September 2021.
For those who have previously never been able to travel to a WCA, this online format opens up the possibility of attending. Organisers are expecting the largest ever WCA attendance.
Alongside a comprehensive scientific programme, the virtual platform provides unique opportunities for scholars to meet, collaborate and share experiences with a truly worldwide network of anaesthesiologists and intensivists.
