Obstetric Anaesthesia Committee
The Obstetric Anaesthesia Committee provides support, training, and education for anaesthetic practitioners (both medical and non-medical) who care for pregnant women across the world, with a particular focus on resource-poor settings.
Key Committee Aims:
- Develop educational and training materials in Obstetric Anaesthesia.
- Support and develop WFSA publications and educational activity covering Obstetric Anaesthesia.
- Ensure WFSA guidelines and standards relevant to the perioperative care of pregnant patients are appropriate.
- Seek funding and other support for WFSA’s activities related to Obstetric Anaesthesia and work to expand those activities.
