Scholarships to attend SRATI 2024

Romania Society launch fund to support scholarships to attend the annual SRATI congress.

With the aim of supporting international collaboration within the field of anaesthesiology, the Romanian Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (SRATI) will provide the WFSA with €2,000 to support two colleagues from a low- or middle-income country to travel to Romania for the Society’s annual congress – SRATI 2024, which will be held between 15-19 May at the International Conference Centre in Sinaia, Romania.

The funds will cover the expenses related to transport, accommodation and per diem.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be in their first ten years of professional practice
  • Submit a 250-word English abstract of a presentation, which, if accepted, would be included in the scientific programme and presented during the Congress.

As our new Digital Learning Officer, you will contribute to our vision and mission and build the overall capacity of our Federation to deliver quality and accessible educational resources to a global audience.

Salary: £29,000

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract offered on a hybrid or fully remote basis.

Outline

This role works alongside volunteer clinicians to develop online platforms to share and promote online education resources and materials including but not limited to virtual libraries, MOOCs, webinars and mailing lists.

The role sits within our small Communications & Advocacy Team and reports to the Communications & Advocacy Manager. You will work closely with all members of our staff team (Secretariat), as well as many of our committees and key stakeholders. This is an entry-level role which offers a huge scope for development and learning across a broad remit.
