Young NATA Grant Applications Now Open

Grants are available for early-career clinicians and researchers to attend NATA26 in Bilbao, with a focus on Patient Blood Management, haemostasis, and thrombosis. Support includes accommodation, travel funding, and access to the PBM Research Workshop.

The Network for the Advancement of Patient Blood Management, Haemostasis and Thrombosis (NATA) is offering Young NATA Grants to support early-career clinicians and researchers to attend the Annual NATA Symposium 2026, taking place in Bilbao, Spain, from Wednesday 29 April to Saturday 02 May 2026.

These grants aim to encourage engagement and research exchange in Patient Blood Management (PBM), haemostasis, and thrombosis, and to support the next generation of leaders working in these fields.

What the grant covers:

Successful applicants will receive:

  • Three nights’ accommodation
    29 April, 30 April, and 01 May 2026
  • €400 lump sum to contribute towards travel costs
  • Registration for the PBM Research Workshop
    Saturday 02 May 2026

Eligibility and requirements:

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Age: Under 35 years (born after 31 December 1991)
  • Career stage: Early-career clinician or researcher
  • Field of interest: Patient Blood Management, haemostasis, or thrombosis
  • Abstract submission: Submission of an abstract is required as part of the application process
