World Anaesthesia Day 2025: Anaesthesiology in Health Emergencies

World Anaesthesia Day on 16 October highlighted the indispensability of anaesthesiologists in health emergency and critical care settings.

World Anaesthesia Day (WAD) unites the global anaesthesia community to celebrate progress and address the challenges of delivering safe, affordable care. Anaesthesiologists are often on the frontline of disasters and pandemics, providing life-saving treatment.

WFSA’s Annual Theme 2025: Anaesthesiology in Health Emergencies highlights their vital role in emergency and critical care.
