On 17 September 2025, the WFSA will mark World Patient Safety Day with a webinar dedicated to advancing anaesthesia safety in newborn care.
Organised jointly by WFSA’s Safety & Quality, Paediatric Anaesthesia, and Obstetrics committees, the session will highlight strategies to strengthen safety in newborn anaesthesia and contribute to universal health coverage (UHC). The ultimate goal: eliminating preventable deaths among newborns and children under five.
This free webinar is open to all, and WFSA invites anaesthesiologists, healthcare professionals, and policymakers to join and share the event with colleagues who may be interested.
