SASA continues to enhance its reputation in the healthcare sector and forge strong relationships with key stakeholders. This includes medical funders, hospital groups, regulators, other healthcare practitioner groups, trade organisations and government. 2017 and 2018 has seen SASA leading the way with regards to protecting patient care and ensuring the sustainability of the profession in the face of the introduction of alternative reimbursement models. SASA is establishing the first ever Perioperative Clinical Registry in the country.
SASA is now being consulted by most healthcare stakeholders in the private sector and hopes to build the same level of trust and prominence in the public sector in the coming period. It is clear that this enhanced reputation and profile is impacting positively on the working lives of our members.
