2025-2026 Global Anaesthesia Mentoring Programme

Applications for the 2025-2026 Global Anaesthesia Mentoring Programme are now closed.

The Global Anaesthesia Mentoring Programme connects anaesthesiologists around the world. Helping to develop careers, share professional knowledge and build supportive networks. Mentorships are available in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish and were run for the first time in 2024.

How to apply:

Applications closed on 31 July. Applicants will be contacted in August with the outcome of their application and contact details of their matched mentor/mentee.

Note: WFSA is committed to fostering quality mentoring relationships; we therefore cannot guarantee that every applicant will be matched, as we may not have an available mentor/mentee in your field of expertise. WFSA will prioritise mentees that show clear focus and motivation for applying for the Global Anaesthesia Mentoring Programme.

All participants will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the Mentoring programme.

Networking: Opportunity to meet new people and understand anaesthesia practices and services elsewhere

Governance: Help with delivering quality improvement projects and governance, and assistance with problem solving
