Fund WCA Scholarships
Together we can improve the safety of anaesthesia globally
WFSA’s Scholarship Programme develops future leaders by helping young anaesthesiologists from low- and middle-income countries attend international congresses.
The World Congress of Anaesthesiologists (WCA) is the premier global anaesthesia meeting that uniquely gathers specialists from all regions of the world. A scholarship to WCA is invaluable to career progression and can have a transformative effect on healthcare in low-resource settings.
With your support, we aim to enable at least 50 Scholars to attend WCA2024 in Singapore in March 2024.
Why support a scholar?
- WCA 2024 is a truly global event with over 4,500 delegates and stakeholders from over 100 countries.
- There will be 18 different scientific tracks developed by internationally renowned experts, covering a broad variety of topics and workshops
- Scholars will access: lectures, PBLD and workshops on the latest development and techniques in anaesthesia alongside networking and learning opportunities.
- Supporters will be: acknowledged before, during and after the congress during the Welcome Ceremony, on WFSA and WCA websites and social media, and in congress materials. You will also be invited to meet the scholars at your booth in the Global Anaesthesia Village, and at the Scholars Reception.
