WFSA’s 2025 Annual Theme highlights the essential role of anaesthesiologists in health emergencies and critical care. This webinar is part of a series of activities to celebrate the theme.

The WFSA Intensive & Critical Care Medicine (ICCM) Committee is leading the organisation of this webinar, which will highlight the vital contributions of anaesthesiologists in disaster management and critical care scenarios.

INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES: 

By attending this meeting participants will:

1. Understand the critical role of anaesthesiologists in disaster preparedness and response.
2. Explore practical approaches to planning and delivering anaesthesia care in conflict and disaster zones.
3. Identify strategies for managing patients with combined trauma and CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) exposure.
