To celebrate World Brain Health Day on 22 July, WFSA is organising a webinar in partnership with the SNACC (Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care). The webinar will focus on perioperative challenges for preserving brain health.

- Talk 4: Perioperative Delirium: Practical Strategies for Prevention, Detection and Postoperative Brain Health by Dr. Swagata Tripathy
- Q&A and discussion
INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES:
- Identify key risk factors and early indicators for perioperative brain complications, including stroke and delirium.
- Describe evidence-based anaesthetic and perioperative strategies aimed at protecting and optimising brain health across the surgical timeline.
- Apply practical approaches for the prevention, detection, and management of perioperative cognitive disturbances to support long-term neurological outcomes.
