Webinar: Multidisciplinary approach to pain management involving all the actors

Pain management is a core goal of anaesthesiology — but its multifactorial nature means that every professional involved in patient care has a role to play. Organised by WFSA’s Pain Management Committee, this webinar explores how embracing a truly multidisciplinary approach can improve patient outcomes, and how WFSA can lead the way in promoting and expanding pain management education across specialties.

  2. Identify when to refer to other disciplines — recognising clinical indicators that call for input from physiotherapists, psychologists, or palliative care teams.
  3. Implement collaborative treatment plans — coordinating care across professional roles through structured communication and shared decision-making.
  4. Apply patient-centered metrics — using validated tools to measure pain, function, and quality of life to guide multidisciplinary care.

Certificates of participation will be issued within 15 business days of the webinar. Participants must attend for a minimum of 60 minutes to qualify.
If you are unable to attend the live webinar, please register anyway so that we can send you the recording.
