International Conference on Anesthesia Patient Safety 2024 (ICAPS 2024)

The Japanese Society of Anesthesiologists is hosting an international conference at the request of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) and the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation at the Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan.

They will be discussing the management of anaesthesia safety in various countries including Japan and the USA. There will also be discussions on the individual and collaborative efforts of these countries to contribute to the safety management of anaesthesia worldwide. The goal is to create a comprehensive plan for a safe anaesthesia management system, an important issue in anaesthesia.

Cooperating organisations: Japan Federation of Anesthesiologists (JFA) and East Asian Society of Anesthesia.

There will be interpreters so all relevant parties, including the Ministry of Health, Labor and welfare and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, as well as domestic medical professions and patients, can engage in meaningful discussions.
