Anaesthesiologist along the patient pathway – promptness, empathy and safety 

Promptness, empathy and safety are the fundamental pillars of modern anaesthesiology. As anaesthesiologists’ roles evolve beyond the operating theatre into the wider continuum of perioperative and critical care, these principles are becoming ever more important for improving patient outcomes and experiences. This webinar will explore how anaesthesiologists can contribute meaningfully to patient care through timely clinical decision-making, compassionate, patient-centred care and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Through discussions on sepsis and pain management and oxygen stewardship, the session will emphasise the expanding scope and leadership role of anaesthesiologists in contemporary healthcare systems.
