Uniting Anaesthesiologists to Improve Patient Care and Access to Safe Anaesthesia

✅ The inaugural SAFE Paeds Cleft training was successfully conducted in Nigeria on 7–8 July 2025, held simultaneously in Lagos and Abuja.🩺 Coordinated nationally by Prof Ronke Desalu, President of the Paediatric Anaesthesia Society of Nigeria (PASoN), and locally by Dr Maryrose Osazuwa in Abuja, the training brought together 62 physician anaesthetists (53 consultants and 9 residents) to strengthen cleft care.💡 Funded by Smile Train and delivered by PASoN facilitators, this course marks an important step in improving paediatric anaesthesia skills and safety in cleft surgeries.#anaesthesia #globalsurgery #cleftcare #patientsafety #nigeria #pason #smiletrain #SAFecourses #WFSA ...
